Hello there.

My name is Blake, and I’m a graphic designer, music journalist, and audio editor from Mississippi, living in Jersey City, and working in New York City. I am a graduate of The New School for Social Research in Lower Manhattan where I studied Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism.

James Joyce said, “In the particular is contained the universal.” In my artwork, I create based around my own experiences, in hopes that my particulars reflect the universals of someone else. In my interviews, I talk to musicians to learn what particulars influenced them to create a body of work. What can I say? I listened to Hannah Montana in the third grade and haven’t been the same since.
